I’ve been proofreading and writing print ads, brochure copy and blogs for high-end travel-by-rail agency Great Rail (and their sister brand Rail Discoveries) since 2019.
It’s an ongoing partnership that involves writing to tight print deadlines and making a very long mental list of where I should go on holiday next - it’s hard not to when their brochures are so beautifully designed.
It’s important that my words complement the photography rather than compete with it, so I keep the copy succinct and high-end for brochure work whilst taking a more conversational approach for the blogs.
